Use custom VM

I am looking for running CUA on my VM in Azure using this sample. I found that the vm-address parameter is never used in the main.py script. Am I missing something? Can you please give me guidance how to do that?

The original code is designed to run on the target machine that you want to control. So, the VM has the access to the API (CUA) - more specifically to Azure AI endpoint, it should work regardless of the address parameter.

If you want to separate the server and the target (I expect the parameter is meant for this scenario), you need to modify the code so that the VM can provide the control endpoint for the server while the server keeps the API connection.
