Cannot generate particles using .stl file

I created a sphere using SolidWorks and exported it as an .stl file.
The diameter of the sphere is 1000 mm.
When importing this file into DesignSPHysics, I set the scale factor to 0.001.
The particle diameter (dp) is 0.01 m.
As shown in the figure, the gencase is currently running but is unable to complete.

Were you able to resolve this issue? I cannot RunGencase when using an stl file as well
