Is this package maintained?

Hi, I am setting up a project with React and wanted to use VTK.js in the application. I was hoping to use a React-wrapper, but I see it's not compatible with new versions of React and VTK.

Are there any plans for maintaining this repository? Or should I follow the principles found in the example on the homepage? https://kitware.github.io/vtk-js/docs/vtk_react.html

The beta branch and release do support newer version of react.

I will let @floryst comment with more up-to-date information.

The reason why it has been stuck to old react was for dash-vtk. But now that dash is moving forward, we should be able to move too.

There is indeed a beta branch. I hope to finish it up once I get some time to work on it.

Is there a release date or plan for the release of the v2 ?

No release date yet, but I have a plan to release v2 once I check to make sure all of the desired features are there.

Hello, can I ask what is the recommended approach for using vtkjs in react, since this lib is not fully released, shall developers wrap it themselves.
This lib looks good but we do have concern about whether it will be continously maintained?
