Proposal for OpenChain Study Group related to Specifications
Topic Overview
With the advent of emerging quantum computing capabilities many national or regional governmental organizations have started redefining their laws and regulations related to secure-software development, trustworthiness, transparency, quantum-readiness (resistant to attack by cryptographically relevant quantum computers) in the various supply-chains around the globe. To ensure that the Linux Foundations' specifications are relevant and foster greater acceptance as a compliance resource with new laws, such as the EU CRA and others, we need to do the work that is necessary to bring the required connectivity with our specifications.
