An initial implementation of this is ready in the latest alpha, I've tested and confirmed it works properly on Windows 11

I still need to test on MacOS, and will need community feedback regarding Linux support. Let me know how this works for you, and what OS you are using

Hello! I meant to answer this properly before I left for vacation!

I'll have a new alpha ready within the next few days which should work properly on any Linux distro 👍

I've released a new alpha update which should resolve the issue, and I also found out AppImage is rather limited on newer version of Ubuntu

I added documentation about this to the wiki here, the AppImage will now automatically run with --no-sandbox by default to work correctly. If you'd like or require the app sandboxed, you'll need to configure AppArmor yourself (which I also documented) as it requires root. If this still doesn't work correctly, if possible I would recommend using the .deb which doesn't have any of these restrictions

I am still researching if there's a more ideal solution, but in the meantime let me know if the new AppImage works correctly
