[Desktop App] Model fails to output in new session for Git projects (works via /new command) #41636

Description

@2713088477

Description

When using the OpenCode Desktop app, if I open a project under Git management and start a New Session, the model does not output anything (it seems stuck).
However, the Terminal version works fine, and the Desktop app can correctly display chat history from the terminal.
Workaround found:
I found that if I click on a previous chat history in the Desktop app and then type /new to start a conversation, it works normally. The issue only happens when clicking the standard "New Session" button directly.

Plugins

OpenCode version

OpenCode Desktop v1.18.16

Steps to reproduce

1.Open the OpenCode Desktop application.
2.Open a project directory that is managed by Git.
3.Click to start a "New Session".
4.Send a prompt to the model.
5.Observe that the model does not generate any output.
6.(Contrast) Try typing /new inside an existing history session -> This works fine.
