7.0.250 with metal: when app starts on iPhone, instead of showing the app logo on white background as before it now shows a black screen until the first Form comes up.

This only happens when cold-starting the app.

I haven't made any splash screens or anything else, so the splash-screen is whatever CN1 uses by default.

I think this might be related to the UIScene change and not the metal change. Are you sure it started with metal?

If you build with ios.uiscene=false do you see that splash screen again?

I think it started with 7.0.250. I haven’t tested without Metal (which I now leave on all the time). I’ll try with uiscene false later

Just checked ios.uiscene=false (and still 7.0.250) and it shows the app logo but very briefly (1/10s?), followed by a very short black screen (maybe 1/3s). The app starts really fast now - would be cool to have such a fast start and just the logo for the maybe 1/3s it all takes. Nothing unusual in the Xcode log.
