Python 3.15 Support for duckdb-python

[stonebig]

May we have a chance to get soon a nightly wheel from Duckdb for Python-3.15.0rc1 ?

[paultiq]

It's probably a little early without either Pandas or PyArrow.

PyArrow is almost there (I'm working on that PR), so once that's done, duckdb-python could build off the nightly PyArrow build for 3.15.

PyArrow/Pandas has since shipped, I submitted a PR with changes needed to use the nightly's: #605

fyi, in the interim, you can try https://pypi.org/project/bareduckdb *

• duckdb 1.5.5: pip install bareduckdb
• duckdb 2.0 preview: pip install bareduckdb --pre (dynamically linked to 2.0 preview)

* Experimental binding using cython, supports free-threading, 3.15 and graalpy, not meant for production!

3.15 wheels are on the way for DuckDB v2.0. Starting with v2.0 we will have abi3 wheels, so future Python releases should work with the same wheels.
