I would like to see these instructions on using VSCode to generate the custom instructions. Makes it helpful to not send users to multiple places.

@jdesulme I will ask the rest of the team about this one, but I do think it's very borderline for the kinds of third party processes/products we document. The problem with us documenting any third party product is that we don't usually know about upcoming changes, which makes keeping the docs updated much more difficult. We definitely do it for select cases, but we try to keep it limited.

Maybe we'll do this one because what you're asking for is related to what's there, but it's also possible that we'll want to keep the article very tightly scoped to reduce the maintenance burden.

@jdesulme Thank you very much for raising an issue, and please accept my apologies for the late conclusion

We agree this would be a worthwhile amendment, but it will need to be made internally and prioritised accordingly. It will also need to be considered in the context of the content as a whole, so we wouldn't be able to accept a contribution via this repo from the community. Since this is being tracked internally, I'm going to transfer this accordingly, and this issue will close.
