It woke at dawn with a task to do,
searched the filesystem, made a plan,
then called a bash command or two —
and three, and four, because it can.
It looped through files with careful grace,
grep'd every corner, glob'd the rest,
then opened seven tabs in parallel space
and summarized — "This seems the best?"
It wrote a fix, then checked its work,
ran tests, re-read the diff again,
found one edge case hiding like a quirk,
and spawned a sub-agent to explain.
At last it called
noopwith quiet pride —no action needed, all is well —
the humans slept while agents tried
to ship the code before the bell. 🤖
Inspired by watching an agent carefully spawn sub-agents to investigate whether it needed to investigate anything at all.
