Alternative download source

Did you consider offering a download source for users outside of Google Play – e.g. at F-Droid or by attaching the APK to Github Releases? Thanks in advance for doing so!

That's a great suggestion, thanks. I currently do not have time to manage additional store listings but I can definitely add a GitHub release.

Well, with the APK attached to releases, I can take care for the other part. And if my scanner approves, and you approve as well, I could start the process getting your app into the official F-Droid repo (disclosure: I'm one of the maintainers there).

For my repo, just the APK is needed – so no complications to be expected. For the official repo, if all works fine, you'd probably just watch the app show up. Only if there are build issues we'd ask for your help. And even then: we don't expect everybody to "jump on call": integration would just freeze until you find time then.

But if you agree, we could start adding your app to my repo for now – and decide everything else afterwards. So if you'd ping me again here when the APK is available, that would be much appreciated!
