At JSQLParser we are running into a code to large problem on the token manager again.

Can you help on that please?

is this with javaccc8? If so, you can just send a fix for the java code generator. But also I generally think this is symptom of some inefficiency in the grammar that shows up this way

Greetings, yes it is JavaCC8 and yes, the Grammar certainly can see improvements.

However, it still would be nice when JavaCC could handle such situations of "too many tokens defined" gracefully because when I am forced to hand-optimize the Grammar and replacing tokens then eventually I can just write the parser myself.

Also, I don't have the domain knowledge for fixing the Java Code generator unfortunately.

That's the idea of the new code generator! absolutely no domain knowledge needed!! Just java coding tricks to reduce method size

Please have a look at JSQLParser/JSqlParser#2425
We are applying now a post-processing on CCJSqlParserTokenManager to work around this problem but I really feel like JavaCC should solve that upstream.
