From v3.0.2 up to latest v3.1.1 clicking on "Check updates" in settings with disabled internet access (via firewall) leads to MS Visual C++ Runtime error and subsequent Explorer crash closing all windows. In 3.0.2 it just throws an error and in later versions it crashes Explorer.
I'm using Windows 7 that technically was dropped after v3.0.4 but on 3.0.4 and before it also crashes in the same way (and 3.1.1 still runs on W7 otherwise).
