There a unsolved todo in node v24.12.0 , in http_client module

There are more than 1000 TODO comment tags in the Node.js code. They stay there until they are actioned.

I will close this issue, since it's a normal state.

If you are volunteering to submit a PR to implement this TODO, please respond and we can re-open to discuss in detail.

The latest Node.js 24.x is Node.js 24.18.1, not Node.js 24.12.0. In effect, Node.js only supports the latest version of each release line.

The TODO is however also still present in the main branch:
