TaskTime Pro is a public open-source project and a production app used for private work records. We want the project to stay useful, direct, and safe for people who contribute code, report bugs, discuss agent integrations, or improve documentation.
This code applies to the TaskTime Pro repository, issue trackers, pull requests, discussions, public documentation spaces, package and plugin listings, and any other project spaces where someone is acting as part of the TaskTime Pro community.
Participate in a way that makes technical work easier to do:
- Be respectful and professional, especially when disagreeing.
- Keep feedback specific, actionable, and grounded in the code, docs, or product behavior.
- Assume production user data matters. Do not suggest resets, destructive sync actions, or unsafe shortcuts without clear need and safeguards.
- Respect privacy. Do not post another person's client data, invoices, logs, Drive metadata, tokens, screenshots, contact details, or other sensitive information.
- Help keep conversations accessible to contributors with different backgrounds, skill levels, languages, and time zones.
- Disclose conflicts of interest when they are relevant to a recommendation, review, or security report.
The following behavior is not acceptable:
- Harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking, or sustained unwanted contact.
- Discriminatory, sexualized, demeaning, or exclusionary language or imagery.
- Personal attacks, insults, or repeated bad-faith arguments.
- Publishing private information without explicit permission.
- Sharing secrets, credentials, OAuth tokens, production identifiers, customer data, or non-public operational details.
- Encouraging data loss, bypassing user consent, weakening security controls, or abusing the agent bridge, sync system, email sending, or reporting channels.
- Spam, coordinated disruption, or off-topic promotion.
TaskTime Pro is local-first software for tasks, time entries, expenses, invoices, sync, and same-device agent access. Treat anything a user enters into the app as private business data.
Do not ask users to paste sensitive data into public issues. For security vulnerabilities, use the reporting process in SECURITY.md. For ordinary bugs, reduce examples to synthetic data whenever possible.
Maintainers may remove, edit, or reject comments, issues, pull requests, commits, packages, or other contributions that violate this code. Depending on severity and pattern, maintainers may also issue a warning, limit participation, temporarily block participation, or permanently ban a participant from project spaces.
Enforcement decisions should be proportional, consistent, and focused on protecting contributors, users, and the project. Maintainers who have a conflict of interest in an incident should recuse themselves when practical.
Report conduct concerns through https://tasktime.pro/contact/ or by emailing support@tasktime.pro.
If the concern is a security issue, do not use public issues. Follow SECURITY.md instead.
Reports should include enough context to understand what happened: links, screenshots if appropriate, dates, affected spaces, and any immediate safety or privacy concern. Reports will be handled with discretion, but confidentiality cannot be guaranteed where disclosure is necessary to investigate, protect people, or comply with legal obligations.
This code follows common open-source community standards and was written for TaskTime Pro's local-first, privacy-sensitive product context. It is informed by the structure and goals of the Contributor Covenant 3.0 without copying the template text.
