Setup a action mecanism to get values from Scale, will be better hook it based into specific field names, under certain doctype, eg:

Sales Invoice Item - qty
Sales Order Item - qty
Puchase Order Item - qty
Purchase Receipt Item - qty, accepted qty, rejected qty
Anything else?
