This doesn't help contributors get involved in projects or let maintainers get any more work done. At worst, maintainers get bogged down addressing pull requests that have never been looked at by a person before. To mitigate this, the contributing guide has two guidelines regarding AI-assisted contributions specifically. Individual projects may have additional restrictions in their own contribution policies, but the below is our default expectation:
