Lesson(s) you are interested in piloting

ORCID for Librarians

Preferred workshop format

Virtual

Intended audience

I was thinking that this could be a workshop to provide for my colleagues at the University of Minnesota as a professional development workshop. I see it as a way to support our publication and research activities, (I am a member of our Research and Publications Committee) while also deepening our understanding of how ORCIDs work as we collaborate with the broader research community within the University. We do regular communications and workshops on PIDs like ORCIDs and this is a great resource to add to our toolbox.
I would also be open to doing it for an audience beyond my institution but would be most comfortable piloting it internally.

Tentative timing

Preferably in the Spring 2026 (after April) or Fall 2026

Additional notes or questions

What are the goals and timelines of this project overall? How soon are you hoping to launch these materials?

I also have another colleague at the University of Minnesota who might be interested in co-teaching this course. How would I add them if they are interested in co-teaching with me?
