[Bug]: Cannot update collection initial view using dialog

What did you expect to happen? What happened instead?

The collection "Set Initial View" dialog resets on its own, likely due to polling for collection data.

Reproduction instructions

1. Log in as crawler
2. Go to Collections > choose a collection with items
3. Choose "Set Initial View"
4. Change the view type. Wait a few seconds. Observe that the dialog resets the view type
