How can the category name be dynamically switched?
I need to switch between multiple languages.
However, it was found that the category names could not be refreshed in real time.
Parameter names and parameter descriptions are acceptable.

What you’re seeing is expected with the current PropertyGrid. DisplayName and Description are shown on each row, so assigning them in PreparePropertyItem updates immediately. Category is different: it is used as the group name. Grouping is built before PreparePropertyItem runs, so setting propertyItem.Category there (or calling Update() after recreating SelectedObject) does not refresh the category headers.

You don’t need a toolkit change for this. Keep localizing names/descriptions in PreparePropertyItem, and apply the category after the properties have been generated, then force the grid to regroup.

1. Leave DisplayName / Description in PreparePropertyItem as you have them.
2. Do not set Category there.
3. After you restore SelectedObject, handle PropertiesGenerated (or a Dispatcher callback at ContextIdle / Loaded), set Category on each PropertyItem, then toggle IsCategorized:

our RefreshPropertyGrid() can stay as-is for rebuilding the items after a language change. Update() only refreshes property values, so it won’t help with category titles.

Flow when switching language: update your resource helper → clear/restore SelectedObject → PropertiesGenerated applies the translated categories → toggling IsCategorized rebuilds the group headers.

After that, category names should follow the current language the same way as parameter names and descriptions.
