Security Policy

  • Report a security problem in private, and expect an answer before anyone discusses it in public.
    • Reporting a problem
      • Email the repository owner instead of opening a public issue.
      • Say which version you found the problem in, and how you triggered it.
      • List the affected files and any configuration needed to reproduce it.
      • Describe what someone could do with the problem, so the owner can judge how urgent it is.
    • What happens next
      • The owner acknowledges your report and tells you whether the problem stands.
      • The owner fixes a confirmed problem in the current release rather than in older ones.
      • The owner credits you when the fix ships, unless you ask to stay anonymous.
    • Scope
      • These projects drive Alibre Design on your own machine, so treat anything that runs untrusted script content as in scope.
      • Take a problem in Alibre Design itself to Alibre rather than here.
