I build the systems data engineers use to move and operate data. My work connects application code, infrastructure and the tools around them. As a tech lead, I stay involved in implementation and use feedback from platform users to guide engineering priorities.

Engineering focus

  • Developer experience: reusable loaders, YAML-based pipeline configuration, Kubernetes deployment templates and CI/CD automation.
  • Data in motion: PostgreSQL CDC, schema evolution, signaling tables, Kafka-to-Iceberg ingestion and checkpoint/savepoint recovery.
  • Production reliability: resource allocation, secrets and certificates, monitoring and diagnostics.

Open-source work

I have contributed changes merged into Apache Amoro and Apache Flink CDC:

  • UUID handling in Amoro's Iceberg table compaction path.
  • Recursive JAR discovery for Flink CDC deployment classpaths.

Personal projects

  • titan-pulse — a personal streaming infrastructure sandbox in development: Helm-based Flink Kubernetes Operator, observability and a local data stack with Kafka, MinIO, Iceberg REST and Trino.
  • Tinkoff Link Tracker — a Java backend course project built on the course template: Telegram notifications for tracked links, with Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, optional Kafka and Docker Compose.

Core: Java, Python, SQL · Apache Flink, Flink CDC, Kafka, Iceberg, Amoro, PostgreSQL.

Platform: Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, GitLab CI/CD, HashiCorp Vault, MinIO, Grafana, Prometheus.
