100-PR batch review at Merged to Reviewed scope: One root-linear factor forces E8 masked exactness to full exactness via local covariance/span identities; arbitrary masked factors remain outside the theorem. The pinned scoped command passed; the batch ledger contains its command, input hashes, environment and log. This incorporates the research/tooling contribution and does not change the selected κ or discharge the inherited multiplication-theorem assumptions. Batch review, attribution and evidence. Thank you for the contribution. |

Change and mathematical scope
Research note / scoped negative result; no new kappa or supplier. A decoder that is correct only on the even-inner-product mask already has the full all-pairs product if one factor lies in the live E8 root-coordinate column space. The other factor is unrestricted, and the term count is arbitrary. Diagonals and ordinary complex transpose are essential.
This covers P112, all 112 one-line P111 punctures, and all 1260 frame-pair P104 punctures. An elementary covariance/Bessel argument also covers deletions contained in at most eight orthogonal sets; that larger family is proved parametrically, not enumerated. Consequently mask relaxation alone offers no copied-information saving in this class. Unrestricted masked factors, better all-pairs decoders and physical supplier costs remain open.

Concurrent #1180 instead extends the all-pairs cost floor with both factors root-linear and explicitly excludes masked identities. Its proof/README were inspected at the recorded head; its new theorem is not imported or certified here. The similar cancellation fixture is credited as a shared scope control. Final metadata inspection covered 798 open PRs and current discussion claims.
