Status: independent verification

This package applies the conditional scalar common-frame cut-rank inequality from #1664 to the exact centre phase in selected PR #1094. It replays the selected 480-helper emitted program, establishes a full-rank 704-coordinate Q entry state, and verifies that the eight height-8 carriers scatter into 88 disjoint height-0 targets through a rational 88×8 matrix of rank 8. All eight private copies are cleared inside the measured interval. With no dirty-host endpoint term, the inherited bound is 8·8 = 64 transport units; the emitted phase has exactly eight height-8 descents, also 64.

This adds the selected-source Q-rank and complete copy/descend/scatter/clear boundary application that #1664 explicitly left open. It complements #1643’s F2 nested-tree geometry. It is distinct from merged #1453’s obstruction for final helper climbs through the fixed R480 cleanup: this PR audits the earlier centre phase and makes no helper-cleanup claim. The older #717 result concerns a rebuilt #656 492-helper word.

Reproduction and pins

From the repository root on Python 3.12:

python3 -B research/selected-centre-cutrank-seed52/verify.py
python3 -I -O -B research/selected-centre-cutrank-seed52/verify.py
python3.12 -B scripts/research_package.py --package research/selected-centre-cutrank-seed52
make selected-record-check
python3 -B scripts/research_baseline.py

The first two commands emit PASS_SELECTED_CENTRE_CUTRANK_APPLICATION centres=8 targets=88 entry_rank_Q=96 rank_Q=8 floor=64 transport=64 controls=7; the registered replay emits PASS_REGISTERED_RESEARCH_PACKAGE ... outcome=completed. Both selected baseline commands passed on the rebased head. The experiment base is 418e40eb2572d930b58c1cf9b82b41c0fc7ee08d; the branch is rebased on current main 5e554ff58d01921747d27177045c0061f31e1ad1. Selected PR #1094 source head is 0fc329d0bec93ca7cd288eaea1295172e8789810. Archive and member SHA-256 pins are in SOURCES.json.

Scope and credit

This checks one finite emitted stage under #1664’s written scalar transport model; the verifier does not formalize that universal lemma. The measured 64 is transport mass, not the full ADD/NEG invoice. It gives no new supplier profile, changed implementation, dirty-host credit, production admission, kappa, or multiplication theorem. The accepted record remains 836330098538459/500000000000000000 and complex-binding. Complete selected cold replay and hosted CI were not rerun here.

Credit Rohan Arun and the selected PR #1094 supplier lineage; DreamingOfClouds’ related legacy centre/cut work in #717; Ali Romman and disclosed Codex-assisted work in #1453; Dennis (@antunishdPursuit)’s complementary #1643 audit; and Andrey Mas’s conditional cut-rank proof in #1664. Prepared by Cinna Davis with substantial OpenAI Codex assistance in scope selection, exact replay code, source handling, and exposition. No independent human review or proof-assistant verification is claimed. New work is Apache-2.0.

Batch review at 1e1af1a8f97f6eee21946cd1ff832e3d61269d33.

Merged to main, preserving the original contributor commits and package attribution.

Reviewed scope: Source-bound selected centre-phase application of PR1664: full704-register prefix invertibility,88-by8 rational scatter rank8,zero private boundary and charged64 transport. No dirty-host credit or broader replacement admission inferred.

The pinned scoped command passed; the batch ledger contains its command, input hashes, environment and log. This incorporates the research/tooling contribution and does not change the selected κ or discharge the inherited multiplication-theorem assumptions.

Batch review, attribution and evidence. Thank you for the contribution.
