Summary

selected 112-port query R
  chart (A,T): order 6
  chart (T,A): order 6
  alternating pair: infinite order

Prove a scoped source-restoration obstruction for two admissible charts. Their alternating product has characteristic polynomial

(t-1)^88 (t^3-171t^2+27t-1)^8

Its trace is 1456 and it has a real eigenvalue strictly between 170 and 171. Thus the product has infinite order over Q and Q(i).

Retain Ali Romman's PR #1862 fixed-chart construction and changing-chart warning, and David Arias's PR #1973 fixed-code winding and distinct F-B-F obstruction. The new result is the exact order and growth of this particular alternating pair. Predecessor commits and selected-source hashes are pinned in the package.

Evidence

  • Before: each fixed chart has order six; this does not establish periodic restoration after changing charts. After: the independent section decomposition and exact product polynomial certify infinite order for this pair.
  • Standard and optimized registered replay pass. Each checks source pins, 336 column comparisons against an ordered-factor interpreter, four semantic failure controls and eight focused tests.
  • All 45 research-workflow tests pass with no skips. Metadata, warning-enabled bytecode compilation, baseline bindings and diff checks pass.
  • A fully paginated overlap refresh covered 404 open PRs and 625 Discussion records without warnings. Scope terms matched this package, its PR and its coordination claim. Coverage timestamps and limits are in TASK.json.

Merge Danger

Door: two-way

Blast Radius: research

Adds only research/source-code-chart-order/. The selected frontier, source archive and frozen predecessors remain unchanged.

The sampled complex-new-helper-inventory task changed scope to this source-restoration audit. It does not meet that card's new-inventory construction gate. No native route, controller admission, paid cost invoice, supplier gain or κ improvement is claimed. Full selected cold replay, hosting/precision admission and proof-assistant verification remain outside scope. Open next questions are in the package README and TASK.json.

Batch review at 264454acd8b94d926d42e94f3cb83ecd00a6daa9.

Merged to main, preserving the original contributor commits and package attribution.

Reviewed scope: Swapping two source charts produces an exact order-infinite product with characteristic factor t^3-171t^2+27t-1, despite each chart having order six. Full112-column action, active/fixed decomposition and corruption controls replay. This is source algebra and does not implement native chart transport.

The pinned scoped command passed; the batch ledger contains its command, input hashes, environment and log. This incorporates the research/tooling contribution and does not change the selected κ or discharge the inherited multiplication-theorem assumptions.

Batch review, attribution and evidence. Thank you for the contribution.
