PR2158 compares resolved archive members against an unresolved extraction root. Benign temporary-root aliases therefore trigger its unsafe-archive assertion. The maintainer already diagnosed this and tried TMPDIR=/private/tmp; the latest c3c94 review then timed out. This contribution credits that diagnosis and adds the portable one-line source repair, regression controls and a completed exact replay.
The repair resolves work once before deriving either extraction root. The file-only/containment guards, archive/member pins and every invoice assertion remain unchanged. Removing the one inserted line reconstructs the exact original verifier bytes on every replay. All 37 original mutants and the positive invoice match every field/type of the unchanged receipt: 31 invoice rejections, six accepted then rejected downstream. No new invoice theorem or expanded mutation census is claimed.
Python 3.12.14 registered replay and Git-free/read-only export pass using a real Windows junction as TEMP/TMP. Both actual junction and portable dot-dot fixtures reproduce old failure and fixed success; five traversal/non-file controls pass. Source/receipt/derived-source corruption, optimized mode and unknown CLI are rejected. No macOS/CI/full selected replay or new supplier/kappa claim. The original author's scientific credit and source notice are retained.
