feat(integrations): one Hazel integration, alerts through the bot - #2022
The integrations page listed two Hazel cards with two Connect buttons: the chat connector (the Maple bot answering in Hazel threads) and an older OAuth integration that created a Hazel channel webhook for each alert destination. Now there is one Hazel card and one connection that covers both.
What changed
Stacked on #2027, which makes Hazel channels alert destinations through the bot. This PR removes the old path.
The OAuth webhook integration is deleted. That covers:
HazelOAuthService, the hazel-oauth destination type and its transport.
The hazel* internal routes and the OAuth callback.
HAZEL_OAUTH_* / HAZEL_API_BASE_URL.
The dashboard card and destination form.
The v2 API and @maple-dev/alchemy variants and the iOS OpenAPI enum.
No org was connected through it, so there is no migration.
Old links keep working./integrations?integration=hazel redirects (replace) to ?integration=chat-hazel.
The vendor-isolation guard drops its allowance for the old catalog entry.
The docs at notification-destinations, alert-rules, incidents and alchemy-resources describe the bot flow.
The integrations page listed Hazel twice: the chat connector (the Maple bot
in Hazel threads) and an older OAuth integration that provisioned a Hazel
channel webhook per alert destination. They are now one.
- The Hazel connector lists the channels its bot can post in
(GET /api/v1/organizations/{id}/channels), so Hazel channels are picked
as ordinary chat alert destinations and alerts post as the bot.
- The OAuth webhook integration is deleted end to end: HazelOAuthService,
the hazel-oauth destination type and transport, its internal routes and
OAuth callback, the HAZEL_OAUTH_* env, the dashboard card and form, and
the v2 API and alchemy variants. No org used it.
- /integrations?integration=hazel redirects to the chat-hazel page, so
links from Hazel's app keep working.

Walkthrough
The pull request removes Hazel OAuth support across the API, backend, and web app. Hazel integration links now route to the Hazel chat connector, which can list channels for alert destinations.
Removes Hazel OAuth routes and service wiring, Hazel destination creation and update handling, and the Hazel delivery transport. Alert dispatch now uses the hydrated secret configuration directly.
Update web integration and destination flows apps/web/src/page/integrations/*, apps/web/src/page/alerts/*, apps/web/src/route/*, packages/web-data/src/alerts/*, apps/landing/src/content/docs/alerting/*
Removes Hazel OAuth integration and destination UI flows. Legacy integration=hazel URLs redirect to integration=chat-hazel. Updates form handling, tests, and alerting guidance.
Add Hazel channel listing to the chat connector packages/chat-platform/src/connectors/hazel/*
destinations now fetches and decodes the Hazel organization’s channels. Tests cover successful results, authorization failures, and invalid channel-list responses. The connector documentation describes channel alert delivery.

Merge Risk: Moderate · previous review 13e5c
Hazel channel listing for alert destinations depends on a Hazel endpoint that may conflict with an existing route, and existing bots may lack the new channels:read scope. Confirm the Hazel route and add the scope to the existing bots before relying on Hazel alert destinations. The OAuth removal itself looks consistent across the packages reviewed.

/integrations hub
One Hazel card (Linear, Discord, Hazel, Slack), with the new description. Same at 390px.
Click Hazel
Opens ?integration=chat-hazel with Add to Hazel. It's disabled here because this preview has no Hazel bot configured.
?integration=hazel
Ends at ?integration=chat-hazel. Back skips the old URL, so the redirect replaces it.
New destination picker
Slack, Discord, PagerDuty, Email, Webhook, Telegram, Google Chat, Linear. No "Hazel (OAuth)".
No requests went to the removed /integrations/hazel* endpoints. No crash UI and no error toasts.
The only failing requests are the live-sync 503s that every preview:web deploy has.
Not testable on this preview: the picker only lists chat connectors a deployment has configured. This preview has no MAPLE_HAZEL_BOT_TOKEN, so Hazel doesn't appear as a destination here. Production has the token, so Hazel shows next to Slack there. Choosing a channel also needs MapleTechLabs/hazel#372 deployed, so that part is covered by outbound.test.ts.
Before: no other PR had a preview up to compare against. Before this change the hub showed two Hazel cards: "Forward Maple alerts into a Hazel workspace via OAuth…" and "Add the Maple bot to a Hazel workspace…".
🟢 Confidence 9/10 · safe to merge. Pure removal of the Hazel OAuth path; it rests on the claim that no stored hazel-oauth destination row exists, which would no longer decode. no findings · tests covered · risk high −1
Deletes the Hazel OAuth webhook integration so one Hazel connection — the chat connector — covers both chat and alerting, with ?integration=hazel redirecting to chat-hazel. Internally consistent and safe once Hazel #372 ships; the edit to apps/electric-sync/src/shapes/registry.ts is comment-only and does not address the open McpQueryError failures there.

…t clicks (#2086)
* fix(alerts): a retired destination type no longer crashes the alert and automation pages
#2022 removed the hazel-oauth destination type, but rows of it were still
stored, and the dashboard's strict type decode crashed /alerts and the
Automation settings tab. Destinations of a type this build does not know are
now left out of the list instead, and a migration retires the hazel-oauth rows
and every reference to them, as the slack-bot cleanup did.

* fix(integrations): a second Connect click while the popup is on the provider no longer crashes
window.open reuses the named popup; once it is on the provider's page it is
cross-origin and writing the placeholder document threw a SecurityError.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(alerts): retire hazel-oauth ids from each rule's severity tiers too, and pin the migration
Each thresholds_json tier names its own destinations, and a rule's
destination_ids_json is their union, so a tier still naming a deleted
destination would refill it in the editor and fail every save.
