Keep the existing gameplay while updating equipment, saved item data, recipes and networking for Forge 50 and Java 21. Use the published OreSpawn release and retain the tested world upgrades, runtime checks and release safeguards.

This brings the released 1.20.1 version to Minecraft 1.20.6, using Forge 50.2.0 and Java 21.
It keeps raw metals, Kiri's ore overlays, filled buckets, High/Low Fantasy modes and the existing gameplay fixes. Item handling, equipment, recipes and networking have been updated for the newer Minecraft APIs. Clients and servers now check their content mode during Forge's configuration phase, before entering the world.
Old item names, enchantments, lore and custom data are preserved through repairs, shield upgrades and saved ammunition conversion. Registry IDs and the eleven OreSpawn rules stay the same. The dependency is the published OreSpawn 4.1.0.120061 release.
Optional integrations without Forge 1.20.6 releases are not loaded. Their compatible tags and recipe data are retained, as agreed.
Local checks passed:
The earlier qualification also covered old-world upgrades, reloads, chunks opened later, both content modes and repeated connections. Original worlds were left untouched.
The README, changelog and guides are up to date. Agent notes, local worlds, logs and generated test output are excluded.
Ready to merge once the checks are green, then release as 3.1.0.120061.
CI also caught a missing GameTest folder on fresh checkouts. The setup now creates it before writing server.properties. This was reproduced locally before the fix, then all 40 tests passed from a fresh directory.
The packaged-client setup now reads its Forge installer checksum from the project settings, with a regression test to keep them aligned. All 20 Python checks pass locally.
