Prepare patch release
v0.2.50containing the merged diagnostic-parsing performance fix in #263. UpdateVersion.currentfrom0.2.49to0.2.50so the published executable reports the same version as its release tag; tagging the current source without this change would still report0.2.49.This PR changes only the version constant. Parser behavior, package dependencies, and serialization formats are unchanged. After this PR is approved and merged, the release will be tagged at its merged commit, and the existing
release_binariesworkflow will build and upload the macOS and Linux archives. No migration is needed; reverting tov0.2.49restores the previous release and its slower diagnostic parsing.Validation:
swift build -c releasesucceeded locally, the resulting executable printedXCLogParser 0.2.50forxclogparser version, andgit diff --checkpassed. This PR passed all GitHub checks: macOS (2m19s), Linux (3m22s), SwiftLint (31s), and DCO. The underlying #263 change also passed macOS, Linux, and SwiftLint CI. Detailed before/after benchmark samples and compatibility-test results are recorded in #263.Release notes are prepared, but publication is pending the approving review required by branch protection.
