Summary
Prepare and stage Bazel-managed resource bundles for native Previews, including nested resources, localized strings, and asset catalogs. Extend the maintained example and regression tests; this is an optional layer on top of native Preview activation.
Stack
Based on #3370. Review only this delta; land the prerequisite first, then retarget/revalidate against
main.Validation
Recorded root/generated-documentation and formatting checks cover the prior candidate. Hosted checks reported success on the published head in the 2026-10-08 snapshot. Root tests do not establish example generation or a Canvas render.
Testing
Run
bazel test //test/internal/preview_resource_bundles:preview_resource_bundles //test/internal/files:preview_resource_bundle_materialization, then generate the example and confirm localized/nested resources resolve in Canvas. Check an ordinary build separately; no rendered result is claimed here.
