The generator now builds a Pagefind index at the end of the build and puts a search box above the tree. Results stand in for the index rather than covering the page, and nothing is fetched until a reader first types; without JavaScript the box never appears. Nothing here had to change to receive it: the box, the script and the index arrive with the dependency. The site builds, the search assets are emitted beside the pages, and typecheck, lint, format and all 95 site tests pass. 0.3.1 adds the one thing 0.3.0 was missing: a search that the browser refuses now says so. Where an extension, a proxy or a network blocks the engine's fetches, the box reads "Search could not load." and the index stays where it was, rather than going quietly dead with the failure only in the console. The site builds, the search assets are emitted beside the pages, and typecheck, lint, format and all 95 site tests pass. 0.4.0 names the face a card sets its tagline and domain in, rather than using whichever serif the drawing machine happened to have. This card was Georgia, because it was drawn on a Mac; it is Charis SIL now, like every other card in the fleet, and --check can see the difference from here on. The check reported the committed card stale before the redraw and matching after, which is the whole point of the change. The site builds, and typecheck, lint, format and all 95 site tests pass.
