LGTM. Been busy times lately, so release may take a bit; but first glance looks OK to me. |
WalkthroughThe launcher now checks whether a selected process has exited before opening its reloaded-process page. If enabling exit notifications fails during view-model construction, the launcher removes the exit-event subscription and dispatches a return to the application summary page. A regression test verifies this behavior. Estimated code review effort Priority: ➖ Normal Change: Bug fix · Severity of issue fixed: Medium Merge Risk: 🔵 Low · up to The launcher crash when selecting an already-exited process is addressed. A rare race could still show a port error for a process that has just exited; this is minor and does not block merging. 🚥 Pre-merge checks | ✅ 4 | ❌ 1❌ Failed checks (1 warning)✅ Passed checks (4 passed)

I can remove tests tomorrow, I like to add them to all my changes, even though here it probably is overkill 😅 |

Don't worry, I do the same nowadays 😉 😛 |
Fixes #959
Problem
Clicking a "running with Reloaded" process entry after the process has exited, but before the process list refreshes, throws
InvalidOperationException("Cannot process request because the process has exited") fromReloadedAppViewModel's constructor when settingEnableRaisingEvents. The game itself isn't crashing; the launcher is.Changes
ApplicationPage.ReloadedMod_PreviewMouseLeftButtonDown: skip navigation if the process has already exited (the non-Reloaded handler already has this check).ReloadedAppViewModelconstructor: subscribe toExitedbefore enabling events, and catchInvalidOperationExceptionif the process exits between the click and construction, then navigate back to the summary page asynchronously (same asSelectedProcessOnExited). This also avoids a follow-up "failed to obtain port" error for the dead PID.Testing
Manual, on Windows with a Debug build of the launcher injecting into
charmap.exe:masterby breaking in the click handler, killing the process, and continuing: throws the exception from the issue.
