I tried this in this repo, but I found that the relative link ../../what-s-new/what-s-deprecated-or-removed-from-sharepoint-server-subscription-edition#deprecated-features doesn't work from the markdown, and I don't think that page is in this repo. I suspect it will likely work in production.
