## Profile Banners

The claim of the home page, set in the site's own face and the mark's red, on
white: the cover image of the project's LinkedIn page and its Bluesky profile.
Both platforms lay the round profile picture over the lower left of the cover,
so the text sits to the right of it, centered in the space that remains. The
background is white because the profile card around it is white — a tinted
cover reads as a mistake there, not as a design.

The LinkedIn cover carries a faint tint of the red behind the text, fading to
white towards the mark. LinkedIn puts every logo on a white tile with a few
pixels of white around it, and a tint that ran under the tile showed that
tile as a frame; white where the tile sits and color only where the text
is leaves nothing to show. Bluesky crops the profile picture to a circle
with no tile, so its banner is plain white.
