Introduce PageSize to express paging limits in rows or bytes and propagate it through query options, read limits and pagers. Use byte limits for index builds and aggregation subpages, with coverage for paging state and serialization. Target Cassandra 6.0 and serialize byte limits only from internode VERSION_60, preserving the 4.0 and 5.0 wire formats. Retain request timing, transaction conflict handling, top-K behavior and index-build failure injection. Count live row data for byte limits so purging and filtering do not change paging counts.
