Minimizing diffs benefits long-term maintenance by both LLMs and humans. For LLMs, smaller diffs mean fewer tokens are consumed when resolving conflicts. Therefore, I would like to backport this change—a practice followed by many libraries in the Play ecosystem—as it does not alter the code's behavior or logic. I hope for your support; thank you. |
