Import CrocSwap#378 at c248962 into this fork’s codex-e8-reuse-extension research branch. The source package and original Chafik Boukhalfa / Anthropic Claude attribution remain unchanged. Full source regeneration, rational operator equality, and the derived nine-stage composition have passed local independent checks. Resolve only the additive .gitattributes conflict by retaining both frozen-source rules; root Makefile and README remain unchanged. This fork-local integration supports the additive composition in upstream PR376.
