Ugh, as far as I can tell it should be "hostname" without space, however the other one there 2 lines below is already incorrect in this way. Hard to find any "official" names - I see mentions of "local hostname", "non-absolute hostname", or simply "hostname" (but that can be ambiguous). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hostname I suppose "Short hostname" seems relatively clear and correct. |
