Hi, I'm d3flex 👋
My story with computers started early. When Linux arrived in 2000, I became interested in what was happening underneath the surface. I wanted to understand how things worked, not just use them. That curiosity led me into open source, hackerspaces and eventually a career in software engineering.
- Respect. Life matters, and so do people's rights and dignity.
- Building for others. I enjoy helping when I can contribute something useful. Building something that others find useful or enjoy is rewarding in its own right.
- Shared knowledge. Much of what we achieve in technology comes from knowledge people have shared. Open source is the best way I know to keep that knowledge moving forward.
- Curiosity. Almost anything can be interesting when you look closely enough. Understanding how things work, and what they mean, is what keeps me exploring.
- Always learning. There is always something new to discover, to grow your mind and your view.
- An open mind. I try to stay open to different perspectives and ideas, including those that challenge my own.
Want to discuss a project, share an idea, or just talk tech? I would love to chat about interesting things, review your code or pair up to hack something together.
