Hi there, I'm Ricardo 👋

Physician, full-stack developer, and health tech founder building at the frontier of AI, data, and healthcare.

Former CEO of Medphone, which I led through a successful exit in 2020. The company was later acquired by AFYA, a Nasdaq-listed healthcare group.

Today, I serve as CTO of a digital health company redefining type 2 diabetes care in Brazil through AI, intensive treatment protocols, and high-frequency patient engagement via WhatsApp — achieving outcomes such as reducing HbA1c from 12% to 6% within 3 months.

I am also the CEO/CTO of Previne.AI, where we are building the data and intelligence layer for preventive healthcare. By connecting hospital, payer, and clinical data into a large-scale data lake, we use AI and social intelligence to design better treatment strategies, improve longitudinal care, and drive measurable preventive health outcomes.

My work is focused on turning medicine into scalable, intelligent, and high-impact software.
