Reads the new
cost_millicentsfield the backend now sends onstatus/donestream frames (ellipsis#5885) and drives the connect footer's dollar total from it — monotonic, climbing mid-turn, seeded from the session's cost columns and backed up by the status poll; falls back to the CC-derived result total against older backends.
