🟡 Changeset commands fail on Node 20

On Node 20, the server SDK’s changeset script cannot run the upgraded CLI. Its new engine range excludes a Node version still tested by CI.

The server SDK exposes a changeset script, and the CI test matrix includes Node 20, but the newly locked CLI requires Node ^22.11 || ^24 || >=26 (CLI engine). On Node 20 the script is outside the CLI's supported runtime and cannot be relied on to perform changeset operations. The root dependency has the same incompatibility, though the publish job runs Node 24.

Example: A maintainer on Node 20 runs pnpm --filter livekit-server-sdk changeset; the new CLI cannot execute as a supported Node 20 tool, even though the SDK is built and tested on Node 20.

Recommended fix: Either retain a Node-20-compatible Changesets CLI until development tooling support moves to Node 22.11+, or explicitly raise and enforce the repository's contributor Node requirement and remove Node 20 from the supported development matrix.
