# Changelog for the PR pipeline convention

## [8.50.0] - 2026-11-04

### Added

- `pr-verify-capture.yml` drives the app a pull request changes, unattended, once
`merge.verify-capture.app` is set (unset: it stops with a note). It runs the pull request's
code in its own workflow, never in a `pr-verify.yml` run, on the same trigger and the same
in-repo-head gates as the judges, with a read-only token. A reach probe runs before any head
code and fails the job when a process where the app will run can read pr-verify's key, the
job token or the runtime token. The key goes to the Claude Code driver alone. The capture
uploads as `pr-capture-<pr>-<head-sha>` with `merge.verify-capture.retention-days`.
- Each pr-verify judge job finds that capture (`find-capture.mjs`; check-intent waits at most 35
minutes for it) and downloads it into `pr-verify-data/capture/`. The judge reads it as
untrusted data, and a missing, unfinished or blocked capture never fails a head. The verdict's
evidence block reads run-e2e's `e2e-summary.json`.

### Changed

- A pull request body line `Evidence loop: 3/3 cap reached, last NEEDS WORK` in trusted text is
a `fail`, and the verdict's `local_loop` reads that line as 3.

All notable changes to the `education` plugin are documented here. Format follows
[Keep a Changelog](https://keepachangelog.com/en/1.1.0/); this plugin uses semantic versioning.

## [1.0.0] - 2026-11-04

### Added

- A `medium` plugin option (default `auto`) sets where `/education:illustrate`'s page and `/education:teach`'s topic lessons go.

### Changed

- `/education:illustrate` and `/education:teach` resolve where their views go through the shared medium resolver (`lib/view-settings.mjs`, lanes `education:illustrate` and `education:teach`) and print the resolver's report line naming the medium and what decided it ([#12682](https://github.com/melodic-software/claude-code-plugins/issues/12682)).

The settings are a medium named in the request, the plugin's `medium` option, the team file `docs/conventions/rendered-views.yaml` and the personal override `docs/conventions/rendered-views.local.yaml`. A team file can keep a view local but never publishes it.

### Removed

- `/education:illustrate` and `/education:teach` no longer publish on an `artifact` or `hosted` value from `~/.claude/rendered-views.md`, `.claude/rendered-views.md`, `.claude/rendered-views.local.md` or a fenced config block in `docs/conventions/rendered-views.md`

These sources are retired. A `terminal` or `file` value in one still keeps the view local when the request names no medium and no other setting keeps it local. Each file gives one notice naming its value and where to set it instead.

## [0.10.0] - 2026-11-04

### Changed

- **`/overengineering:audit` resolves its view medium through the shared resolver** ([#12679](https://github.com/melodic-software/claude-code-plugins/issues/12679)). The rendered-view offer now runs `lib/view-settings.mjs resolve --lane overengineering:audit` and prints the resolver's report line and notices in the terminal summary, and decides the offer from the resolver's `page` and `medium` fields. The skill no longer lists medium values or reads `~/.claude/rendered-views.md`, `.claude/rendered-views.md` or `.claude/rendered-views.local.md` itself: the resolver gives a notice for each one naming its new home, a `terminal` or `file` value there still keeps the view local unless the `--medium` argument or a current scope's `terminal` or `file` value decides first, and a publishing value there is ignored. The `rendered-views` settings under `docs/conventions/` and the `--medium` argument decide.

## [1.0.3] - 2026-11-04

### Changed

- The setup skill's eval suite moved from `skills/setup/evals/evals.json` to `evals/<case>/case.yaml` and `prompt.md`: seven `su-*` cases, five with scaffolded repositories, converted from the six legacy cases ([#8635](https://github.com/melodic-software/claude-code-plugins/issues/8635)).

## [7.0.2] - 2026-11-04

### Fixed

- `babysit_gh.py` counts the GitHub requests of every call that gives no header block (a binary artifact download, a subcommand other than `gh api`, a bare `--paginate`). In a job that names its token, such a call runs with `GH_DEBUG=1`, each request to a GitHub API URL becomes a `request <route>` line in the token's api-budget file, and stderr comes back without the debug lines, as `api_budget_traced` does for the shell wrapper. The job's api-calls notice no longer leaves those requests out.
