Summary
You can now switch an existing preview between dashboard login and password protection from the preview details on the Activity page. Mintlify redeploys the preview after you save. It also asks you to confirm before removing or replacing an existing password. Previously you could only set a password when creating a manual preview.

Documents that users can change access on an existing preview (dashboard login vs password) from Activity → preview details via Auth override, without recreating the preview.
Adds a new Change access for an existing preview subsection under restrict-access guidance in
deploy/preview-deployments.mdx, including save/redeploy behavior, confirmation when removing or replacing a password, and prerequisites (auth permissions and preview/site auth enabled).
