Setting the left "edge value" causes a line to be drawn from the given value to the value of the first visible point in the polyline. On the right, a line is drawn from the last visible point to the given value.

Walkthrough

PolylinePlot adds optional left and right edge values as QML properties. Changing a value emits its change signal and rebuilds visible points. When data points exist, set edge values override interpolated boundary values. When no data points exist, either edge value allows rebuilding to construct the line; an unset side uses the opposite edge value.

Priority: Low

Merge Risk: Moderate · up to f2e5e

Once set, edge overrides cannot be cleared on an existing plot, and plots with a point at an overridden edge draw the adjoining line incorrectly. Resolve these rendering issues before merging.

Explanation

Docstring coverage is 16.67% which is insufficient. The required threshold is 80.00%. Docstring coverage is scoped to functions touched by this diff with cyclomatic complexity of at least 2. Documentation-only edits and deletions within surviving functions are included; unchanged diff context and fully deleted functions are excluded. Analyzed 6 functions across 2 files.

Resolution

Write docstrings for the functions missing them to satisfy the coverage threshold.

Full details: Description check

Explanation

The description explains the edge value behavior and identifies the AI tools used, but it omits the required issue reference and does not complete the required checklist. It also provides no test or build verification results.

Resolution

Add a valid Resolves: #NNNNN issue reference, complete every required checklist item accurately, state whether unit or visual tests were added, and include relevant build and manual test results. Keep the AI-assistance declaration and tool list.

Make edge overrides control the following rendered interval.

When an edge override is set and a real point maps to that edge, rebuildVisiblePoints() retains both points. polylinePx() passes both points to drawLinesAndFillUnder(), which draws a vertical edge segment and starts the next visible segment from the real point’s value. Exclude only the conflicting real point from the rendered polyline. Keep it in m_pointsNVisible and the index mapping for markers and interaction. Apply the same rule at the right edge.
