    @alex-yatsenko

    Still reproducible on Android app 34.1.0 (installed from Google Play), server Nextcloud 34.0.2.

    Steps, same as the original report:

    1. Open the Media tab
    2. Scroll down a few hundred photos
    3. Open one photo
    4. Press back

    Expected: the list stays where it was.
    Actual: the list jumps back to the very beginning.

    Note: PR #16909 (milestone 33.1.1) looks like it addresses exactly this, and 33.1.1 shipped on 2026-05-21 — but the behaviour is still present on 34.1.0. This issue is also still open, so it may simply not have been closed, or the fix may not cover this path.

    Library size: ~8,600 photos in a Group Folder, which is why the reset is particularly painful — it makes browsing deeper into the archive practically impossible.

    This is fixed by PR #17335 , will be available in 34.1.1
