@thompson-tomo I only got to it just now, but it seems like renovate and the post-update action are stuck in a loop. It looks like this would be an issue on any major version upgrade like this one. |

Hmm this is strange given that #2499 looks to be ok. The difference i see is this update is not touching go.sum |

@wpessers it looks to be the the way go works for major updates as you need to explicitly import the major version & renovate doesn't do that. I assume neither does dependabot due to the age. What i have done is #2503 adds a note to the body of the pr's being raised stating next steps & #2504 does those steps. |
