Apothecary's rolling tags (latest, latest-modular) get their assets re-uploaded by CI, but the release itself is never re-published. So the Downloads tab showed latest (2024-11-08) even though the osx core was rebuilt on 2026-10-13.

The release label now uses the newest updated_at of the release's osx core assets (openFrameworksLibs_*_osx*). If a release has none, it uses the newest asset (ignoring .sha256 / .manifest.json). If there are no assets, it falls back to published_at. The same applies to ofLibs releases.

Against the live API:

tag was now
latest 2024-11-08 2026-10-13
latest-modular 2025-02-26 2026-10-14
v12.1.1 2026-04-04 2026-04-04
vbleeding 2023-10-14 2024-11-07

Also:

  • tvOS core platform. OF has no scripts/tvos/download_libs.sh wrapper, so tvOS never showed up in the Platform list. It's now listed whenever ios is, and downloads via scripts/dev/download_libs.sh -p tvos -b [-t tag] (openFrameworksLibs_<tag>_tvos_{1,2,3}, installed into lib/macos). This is apothecary only, since ofLibs and the archive have no tvOS packages.
  • Labels. Core platforms iOS (Apple) and tvOS (Apple). Modular targets iOS (arm64) (Apple) and tvOS (Apple) (tvos_64 used to show raw).
