🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟠 Major | 🏗️ Heavy lift
Fix fork PR feedback before pinning this workflow.
For a fork PR, the pinned reusable workflow runs its feedback job on pull_request_target. That job checks out the PR head with actions/checkout@v7.0.1 without allow-unsafe-pr-checkout. Checkout rejects that operation, so the feedback job cannot publish its status or comment. The separate read-only pull_request check can still run. Update the reusable workflow to handle fork PR data safely, then pin the corrected commit. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

The fork feedback checkout limitation is addressed separately in php-fast-forward/changelog#61. Its opt-in is restricted to the consumer data checkout with persisted credentials, LFS and submodules disabled; the trusted runtime remains separate. This caller now follows the maintainer-selected @v0 channel, which currently resolves to published v0.3.0. The fix is not published yet, so fork feedback remains a known adoption limitation and this thread stays open. No unpublished workflow revision is substituted here.

@coisa Thanks for the clarification. This finding remains open because the upstream fix is not yet published.
Once the fix reaches @v0, verify that fork PR feedback publishes both its status and comment, and that the separate read-only pull_request check still runs. No unpublished workflow revision is needed here.

Learning: In php-fast-forward/http, the maintainer-selected release policy for .github/workflows/changelog.yml is to consume the published php-fast-forward/changelog @v0 channel. Do not substitute an unpublished upstream workflow revision to obtain a pending fix.

Adopt the existing Changelog contribution workflow and development-only skill manager, preserving the pending adoption, historical backfill and README changes. Obtain dependency skills from installed Composer packages.
The manifest trusts only
fast-forward/configandfast-forward/containerviadependencies.composer.trustedwithtrusted-replace: true, including transitive Config. Remove independent GitHub sources/pins for those libraries; retain any existing Changelog GitHub source, project target, empty aliases and disabled discovery/vendor sources. Contributor documentation describes installed-package synchronization.Require
fast-forward/container:^1.10so the installed runtime supplies its consumer skill. Keep the existing Config constraint and other runtime requirements. No lockfile is introduced.Validation: strict Composer metadata and committed contribution checks passed. The full PHPUnit suite passed with Container v1.10.1 (2 tests / 40 assertions), through
composer --no-plugins dev-tools -- tests, using DevTools dev-main at 35d27ee. Isolated installed-package synchronization verified all 17 Config and 21 Container files byte for byte, including Config as a transitive dependency. Generated files were exercised only in disposable directories.Known adoption limitation: this follow-up passes its own contribution comparison, but the complete PR comparison against origin/main still rejects the inherited consolidated CHANGELOG.md backfill. That pending maintenance authorization is preserved; workflow/publication settings are unchanged.
