…ences label Images from 1.2.0 on bundle pineforge-codegen 1.2.0 or later, which is under the PineForge Source License 1.1 (pineforge-codegen-oss #168, #171). The org.opencontainers.image.licenses label, set in docker/Dockerfile and, since docker/metadata-action's labels override the Dockerfile's, in publish.yml, becomes "Apache-2.0 AND LicenseRef-PineForge-Source-License-1.1". The README's License section says which images carry which label (up to 1.0.0 Apache-2.0; 1.0.1 to 1.1.0 the PolyForm LicenseRef; from 1.2.0 the PineForge one), and the workflow test pins the new expression. The 1.2.0 hub image is built when the codegen 1.2.0 release completes the pair. It bundles pineforge-codegen 1.2.0, the first release under the PineForge Source License 1.1 (pineforge-codegen-oss #168, #171). The image's licences label still named the earlier transpiler LICENSE (
LicenseRef-PolyForm-Noncommercial-1.0.0-Personal-Trading), which would contradict codegen's own LICENSE and LEGAL.md on the 1.2.0 image.docker/Dockerfileandpublish.yml(docker/metadata-action's labels override the Dockerfile's):org.opencontainers.image.licensesbecomesApache-2.0 AND LicenseRef-PineForge-Source-License-1.1.Apache-2.0; 1.0.1 to 1.1.0 the PolyFormLicenseRef; from 1.2.0 the PineForge one) and point to codegen'sLICENSEas the controlling text.tests/test_release_workflows.pypins the new expression.python3 -m pytest -q tests: 66 passed.Merge before the codegen 1.2.0 release:
publish.ymlruns from the release tag thathandle-upstreampushes on main, so the label the 1.2.0 image carries comes from main at that moment. Merging triggers no release workflow (publish runs on tags, handle-upstream on dispatch).🤖 Generated with Claude Code
